The most amazing washer and dryer
Game changer! Life changer. Cycles only take 30 min, which is a game changer when there are 6 people in your household. I can do a load or 2 before I go to work in the morning. My ENT recommended Speed Queen because of the agitator in the middle. He said that is the only thing that actually gets your clothes clean! Not as good as Expected
I wanted the Best Washer so I got a Speed Queen. After a few months it started leaking and it continues to leak at 6 months without an obvious explanation. It is under warranty but calling Speed Queen to get a repairman to look at it has been frustrating and useless. Not one of the repair companies will arrange a visit. It's been a a nightmare to get this machine repaired.

Very Happy customer .
No more washing machine walking , heavy built , not the fanciest but hey all I want to do is wash clothes , hey I think it looks great to, it really does a great job , no complaints , my wife loves it , I'm looking for the long haul , the rest of the washer's don't last long like they're engineered to , glad speed queen makes a great washing machine .

Thq quality is very apparent.
We thought we were condemned to using the disposable washers, until I found @HarperandKnowles YouTube channel on the nest washing machines. Chip was very upfront and highly recommended Speed Queen.

Make the splurge & buy the Speed Queen
I spent more money over 10 years buying cheaper washers than what the Speed Queen cost. Very solid machine that I know will provide years of great use. Some say it is loud, but I feel it indicated it is manufactured with heavy duty parts. I highly recommend getting a Speed Queen…

Love thus machine!!!
Too early to tell how durable thus machine is, but it comes very highly recommended by all the repair people that have been in to fix my other machines. I'll miss the repair people. Fortunately I have a wonky dishwasher

Tough little machine
Amazing product that is built to last. The tub is smaller than most on the market but the solid construction on this unit means it is capable of being fully loaded and it just works. It doesn't care that you stuff a king sized comforter into it. Two small annoyances: 1: The machines is not quiet. Do NOT put this machine in a laundry room near to where you are going to be watching tv or the like. 2: This machine does not have a lid lock (this is good). However it does have a switch that when the lid is lifted it will pause whatever it is doing. This includes the fill cycle which is very annoying as they way to add the detergent is during the fill, and you will want to rinse out your measuring cup. Thankfully there are a few ways of either temporarily by reaching behind the machine and pressing a release switch while the lid is open or permanently by using something to keep that release in (clothespin, block of wood or styrofoam, etc).

Built to Last
We bought this machine with the intent of it being the last one we may ever have to buy. Having two teenagers who play sports, we go through a LOT of laundry. The TC500 Speed Queen checked the most boxes in terms of features which we required: knobs (vs. touchpads/screens), full agitator, quality materials/build, made in USA, warranty, and NO lid lock, which the TC500 has. The knobs are digital; they look like metal but are plastic, unfortunately. This does not affect functionality. Cycles are short and we like that we can lift the lid to add clothes to the wash. The deep fill option is great and we have not had any issues with letting the machine auto-fill the water level. The capacity is a bit smaller than our 'old-school' Kenmore that we had, but this hasn't been an issue. A king-sized duvet cover washes just fine. The only things that may improve this washer are: having 'classic' mechanical knobs and a 'load size' (sm. md. large) water level selector knob versus just the deep fill or auto-fill options. However in a world of over-complicated fancy machines many of these classic features are no longer available. Speed Queen sticks to the simpler days of washing and gives you just what you need to get the job done. If you want a classic feel and longevity, this is the machine for you.
