No Free Griddle, Ink coming off knobs

I was supposed to receive a free griddle, I have not received it yet. 2. already the ink on the stover burner knobs is wearing off. I bought this to be a significant upgrade to our prior stove. I am not overly impressed at this point.

Great stove.

Bad start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this American made double-oven and in less than one month the bake stopped working. At first the preheat worked normally and the ovens functioned properly. Then, the ovens would not ignite and only "low" was displayed. The dealer has agreed to send someone to look at it one week after we went in and reported this. If we jumble the settings around the bottom oven will ignite but does not have temperature control. This Maytag replaces a 60 year old Tappan oven which we replaced over potential safety issues. This Maytag can still emit gas, at the burners, without lighting. We have to express the same caution we had to express with the Tappan range. There is also no comprehensive basic user manual for this product. Only a complete installation manual.

New stove

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving my new stove. A couple features I would change. First I preferred the number pad vs the plus and minus to select temps and time. Also it has a middle griddle burner but unfortunately the griddle doesn’t come with the stove. It has to be ordered. Although it is offered free it’s not in stock. Who knows when it will be available BTW this is my second Gemini stove. My first one lasted over 20 years

Exceptional Quality

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I'm so pleased we chose this gas range. It's easy to use and co trol. The temperature is very accurate, whether using either of the ovens, the BBQ grill or any of the 4 burners. Best range I ever had!

Great range, bad knobs

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had this range for 5 months and it’s a great range. However, I have had the knobs replaced twice (just to note only only got 4 of 5 required each time), as the marking on the knob would wipe off after getting anything on them. Being on the front of the range it is impossible not to get some frying spatter on the knobs while cooking. Then wiping off with nothing but paper towel the level (high, med, low) and off and light markings would wipe off, EVEN THE NEW KNOBS!

Great double oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to return the a new whirlpool gas double oven self cleaning stove caught on fire bubbled the control panel couple inches out, second one a Kitchen aide again all the features gas again tried to broil on steak small oven caught on fire returned, now I have my Maytag gas double oven self cleaning stove and it didn’t catch on fire and cooks just fine! Thank you. We have oxygen in house for our adopted medically fragile son so the other ovens didn’t thank God catch our home on fire. Thank you Maytag.

Performs well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this after my prior model--basically the same unit, stopped working and the cost to repair was not too far from a new purchase. Would love to see a product that was more long-lived, less reliant on a motherboard/computer chip based and used functional buttons and knobs instead. It's an oven and a stove, not an ai powered computer or phone. When it was working, it worked great.
